3 rings Of AgRiculture Education

Sonoma FFA is part of the national FFA Organization and proudly represents students at Sonoma Valley High School. Our chapter follows the three-ring model of agricultural education: classroom instruction, Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), and FFA leadership. With these pillars, we provide students with a comprehensive and meaningful ag education rooted in responsibility, skill-building, and service.

To be a part of Sonoma FFA, students must be enrolled in an agriculture course at Sonoma Valley High School. Our agriculture program offers a wide range of classes—from science and art courses that meet A-G requirements to hands-on electives—all designed to connect students with real-world agricultural learning.

We offer three distinct pathways that students can pursue based on their interests within the agriculture industry: Horticulture, Agriscience & Agriculture Mechanics
